Submitted a Matching Grant application (Kudos to Warren Bobrow for his excellent assistance) to RI and was AWARDED $6,418 to partner on an international project providing health and educational equipment for special needs students in Manati, Puerto Rico. The Club's contribution was $1,000. Other partners include the D5280 ($3,190), Palos Verdes Sunset RC ($554), LAX/Lennox RC ($466) and Manati RC ($1,456) and D7000 ($1,500).

1. Prepare for the upcoming trip to Puerto Rico | 2. Toy donation to Tijuana Rotary Club

 

Introducing the FY 2011-2012 Ambassadorial Scholar from Fukuoka Japan and holds a bachelor's, master's degree from Tokyo University and is also enrolled there for his doctorate studies. During the summer, He was enrolled in the USC Language Academy and has started working on his PhD program in Cinematic Studies. He enjoys sports, especially Kendo. He speaks Japanese, English, French and Arabic.
