In a general sense, Community
Service is a manifestation of Club
and Vocation Services.
It is a many
faceted effort for each Rotarian,
and sometimes the club as a whole,
to give back to the community and to
improve the quality of life.
It is
the supplying of the ideas, the
leadership, the individual labor and
financial support to meet the needs
of the community, to make a
difference in the lives of the
people, whether it be to promote
literacy, help the elderly or
disable, combat urban violence or
provide opportunities for local
youth.
